WEEKLY MEETING 101/PROGRAM DESIGN

Dates:  To be determined by you and your team
Cost:  Contact us for more information.

We think it’s safe to say that weekly meetings receive the most exposure of any Cru event. Yet many students and staff members sit anxiously every week just waiting for that week’s blunder: a worship leader who freely shares opinions on doctrine, an emcee who talks about her diarrhea (it’s happened), a testimony that goes wrong or a worship team that thinks it’s all about them.

At Keynote, we want to equip weekly-meeting leadership teams to plan, pray, and prepare well. Our curriculum provides both interactive discussion and practical workshops. We will discuss basic principles that will give direction and foundation for planning well. The sessions are as follows:

  • DVD “God Moments”
  • Why Plan?
  • Creative Brainstorming
  • What is Programming?
  • Design Elements
  • Planning your six-week schedule

Please contact us and let us know if you’d like to discuss how these principles could increase the effectiveness of your weekly meetings and develop your planning team.

Here are some comments from a couple of students who received this training:

“I thought you would give us just a bunch of programming structure, but instead you taught us how to worship better.”
- Aaron, North Dakota State University

“Thank you for helping us find a vision and taking us to a new level and helping us reach our potential for the Lord.”
Student, NDSU
