God Moves in Amazing Ways!

January 27, 2010

Mangofish2009Summer  of 2009, 30 students came to Keynote for training as part of our Summer Project. Four of those students were placed in a rock band called MangoFish, designed primarily for military and prison audiences. God used them in amazing ways during their three-week tour.

Fast forward to 2010. Seth Irby, team director for MangoFish and current Keynote artist, was on Skype with Ben Dooley [lower right] a couple of weeks ago:

“Ben Dooley told me he decided to do an outreach concert in conjunction with a Korean Julliard-educated flautist. He put together a band with volunteers [Keynote style] and they played for 200 high school and middle school students and 100 accepted Christ. Ben told me he was blown away at the response and also that 200 students could be entertained by one guy with a flute.”

By the way, Ben is actually a rock star in Thailand and joined us last summer to learn more about using his platform to share the gospel. Another guy from MangoFish, Stephen [lower left], just decided to join the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and serve with us here at Keynote. Incredible!

Thanks for being a part of stories like these through your partnership with Keynote!
