The fleeting nature of "stuff"—years ago my mother had a horrible flood in her basement. Lots of precious things were ruined ... especially the pictures of our family in the early years. Can't get those back, ever. Sure is nice to know there are some things that can't be lost, even if I can't always put my hands on them in the "now." Good post.

Now I just need to remember that lesson with my adult stuff/pursuits as well!
