The long awaited iPhone app using evangelistic tools produced by Campus Crusade for Christ is finally here! God Tools, version 1.0 was released on June 19 and is a free download on iTunes. It’s compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Campus Crusade for Christ has always been committed to providing relevant, easy to use tools to help people communicate the gospel to the world around them. Tools like the Four Spiritual Laws, Connecting with God and Knowing God Personally each give a step by step presentation of the gospel and are designed for different audiences.
Still another tool, A Dialogue in Images, allows you to show someone a number of images and ask relevant questions that take them on a journey to understand how God relates to them. It can easily open a door to spiritual conversation and the opportunity to tell people about God’s love and forgiveness.
So, what do you do if you’re out and about and all you have is a well worn copy of the Four Spiritual Laws and you’re obviously communicating with someone who would never relate to a paper tract? Well, you whip out your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and call up God Tools! All four of these evangelistic tools are contained in the app and are usable anywhere, even without an internet connection.
The app also includes a library of questions from EveryStudent.com, an evangelistic website created for college students.
Keynote’s New Media Labs has been hard at work on this app for many months and is already working on the next version! We’re thrilled to partner with other areas of Campus Crusade for Christ to provide this exciting tool. In just two days after it’s release, God Tools was downloaded more than 1200 times.
