Partnerships, Summer Project and Sneak Peeks

June 29, 2010

Alongside the Keynote Summer Project, our partner ministry, The Impact Movement is hosting students for their Music Project. Almost all of the students in Level 3:16 are returning from last summer and will return in a few months for a 16-month fellowship with Impact Music here in Indiana.

The fellowship came about mostly as a result of a partnership between The Impact Movement and Cross Movement Records. Cross Movement Records heard about Impact Music and Level 3:16 and proposed a recording and video documentary that could help launch a full-time version of the band in the fall of 2010.

A video crew from Cross Movement Records has been on hand this summer to capture footage of all aspects of the project. The band will perform a dress rehearsal of their program on Sunday, complete with original music written and recorded by the team this summer. Their fusion of hip-hop, R & B and urban gospel is sure to capture the hearts and souls of their audience members. But the message of hope, love and forgiveness that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus is the real heart of their program!

The Keynote Summer Project 2010 is rolling along as well. This week the students are in full day rehearsals as they put the finishing touches on their music and their message. If you live in the Indy area, come and join us for one or more of the dress rehearsals at East Street Studios in Westfield, IN.
