Investing for Eternity

July 30, 2010

This week marks the end of the 2010 Keynote Summer Project. The spiritual, emotional and physical investments made this summer are too numerous to count. But we do have some numbers that reflect a small part of what God accomplished this summer.

  • 25 students participated in the Keynote Summer Project
  • 13 students participated in the Impact Music Project
  • Between Keynote and Impact, six bands logged slightly over 20,000 road miles
  • They performed 79 concert events
  • Over 9000 people heard the gospel through their concerts
  • 759 of those people said that they were interested in having further conversations about spiritual things
  • 1048 of those people indicated that they had decided to begin a relationship with God through Jesus Christ!

These 38 students invested time and energy this summer to see God use them to change lives. The Keynote staff members invested in the lives of the students to see them learn and grow and experience life change. Keynote partners, like you, invested prayers and resources to make all of this possible!

I love everything about Summer Project. As I look around our office I’m reminded of this powerful tool that God has used to help many of our staff see His call on their lives, like you, Jill! Just today we had another one of Keynote’s new staff members visiting. She and her husband both participated in Summer Projects and now they are joining us full-time! Go God!
