2010 Ministry Highlights

November 23, 2010

“So [Paul] reasoned…in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there.” Acts 17:17 [ESV]

Since the beginning of our ministry, Keynote has used creative means to communicate the gospel. Using Paul’s model in Acts 17 when he reasoned with the philosophers on Mars Hill, we seek to bring the gospel back into the dialogue on campus, in prisons, on military bases and across the internet.

Here are some of the highlights from Keynote’s ministry in 2010

  • More than 35,000 people heard the gospel at 300 events. (104 of these events were brand new hosts for Keynote artists!)
  • More than 1,700 people indicated a first-time decision to trust Christ and begin a new relationship with God.
  • Countless others said they wanted to talk further with someone about God or that they would like to be involved in a Bible study.
  • Ministry teams to Spain, Turkey, Hungary, Colombia, Romania, and Singapore
  • New Media Labs recently posted a step by step guide for online ministry
  • “God Tools” iPhone app containing Campus Crusade evangelistic tools released in June 2010; more than 7,000 downloads in the first three months
  • Since July, mediaforministry.org has seen close to 5000 visits from 111 countries
  • Keynote hosted our first “Comm Lab” in April with specialized communication training for Campus Crusade speakers.
  • 38 college students went through Summer Project training in July.
  • 17 Hungarian high school and college students received training in their own country in August.

To God be the glory for His work through Keynote’s ministry in 2010. We look forward to even more opportunities to make the name of Christ known among the nations!
