Friday Flashback

March 25, 2011

[In 2011 Keynote celebrates 45 years of ministry. We thought we would use our Friday posts to look back on God’s faithfulness through the years.]

In an earlier post we mentioned The Great Commission Company, one of Keynote’s early groups designed for the church. During a major evangelistic nationwide outreach known as the “I Found It” campaign, The Great Commission Company expanded to five groups. The groups performed throughout America and Canada, challenging believers to “pray,”  “give” or “go into all the world” to help fulfill the Great Commission.

The Great Commission Company (GCC) was made up of vocalist and instrumentalists with more of a choral/orchestra sound. Although the groups performed primarily for churches they, continued to share the gospel until 1981, performing in the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Finland, the Soviet Union, the Philippines and England.

Okay, we know there are a lot of you out there who served with GCC and we’d love to hear some of your stories.
