Influence
My introduction to Keynote came through a childhood friend whose ministry we supported. He was stepping out in faith and transferring to Keynote. My husband and I were happy to help him by providing housing while he moved his life across the country. As I learned about the international impact Keynote has through music and the arts it really connected with who I am as a creative person. I took my financial commitment a step further when I golfed 100 holes in one day at Keynote’s annual golf challenge to raise funds for the organization. This will be my sixth year golfing and I love this event. My next goal is to recruit more female golfers to participate with me.
I’m now a member of the Keynote Advisory Council, a sounding board for the Keynote leadership team. It was at these meetings I was touched by all the different kinds of people and talents it takes to propel the ministry forward. When I learned that Keynote needed help with some mobile technology projects I started looking for ways my team at Fusion Alliance could come alongside the ministry, use our talents and gifts and experience the joy of giving back to specific, tangible projects. Why do I donate my time to Keynote? They are raising up leaders and communicators through the arts and technology. It’s an important way I can help introduce Christ into the fabric of our culture.
