Keynote is committed to serving the body of Christ with the best evangelical outreaches possible.
Our mission is to help strategic evangelistic ministries make the gospel readily understandable to their target audience. We provide innovative, creative resources so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
Hey there! I’m Chris Zaugg, Keynote’s executive director. Welcome to Keynote.org!
What started out in 1966 as a single folk music group is now a ministry of about 100 staff dedicated to sharing the gospel in all kinds of creative and innovative ways.
A lot has changed over the years, and though we are exploring many new creative directions here at our home base in Westfield, Indiana, one thing remains the same. We want to see lives changed by a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. No matter what new ventures develop around here, communicating the gospel clearly and relevantly will always be the heartbeat of this ministry.
We know from personal experience that Jesus has the power to change us from the inside out. Because of that, we want to use our creative gifts to offer that life change to others through the power of the Holy Spirit. Only when God is involved can we see transformation happen through a concert, blog, song, short film, communication training or personal story.
Whether we’re playing a show at Iowa State or developing on-line resources for ministry, one of our highest values is to craft our presentation of the good news in a way that our audience relates to and understands.
At Keynote, we see ourselves as part of a bigger team that extends into every part of the world. The more we make ourselves part of an extended community of creative communicators, the more God equips us to help change the world, not only through simple addition, but through radical multiplication.
We do this by resourcing and training other musicians, artists, and ministries to help them improve on what they are already doing to reach people in their part of the world.
